What is Kienyeji Mash? | Kienyeji Mash Formula, Fugo Mash


Kienyeji chickens are a popular local breed that many Kenyans raise. A farmer must feed chickens to grow quickly and maintain a healthy body. Each feed contains unique nutrients necessary for the growth of kienyeji chickens. Kienyeji Mash is formulated for feeding Kienyeji poultry, which are raised for their eggs and meat. They contain high-quality nutrients that are beneficial to the health of chickens.

There are three distinct varieties of kienyeji mash: chick mash, growers mash, and layer mash. For accelerated growth and development, Kienyeji mash contains high-quality protein sources and cereals rich in energy, vitamins, and minerals.

Kienyeji Mash Formula

Each variety of kienyeji mash has a distinct chicken-feeding formula. The formula for each Kienyeji mash is as follows:

1. Kienyeji Chick Mash

They require a protein content of between 18 and 20 percent.

The following formula can be used to make a 1000kg bag of chick mash from day one to eight weeks.

  • 11kg of bone meal.

  • 0.5kg of methionine.
  • 0.5kg of coccidiastat.
  • 1kg of toxin binder.
  • 2kg of chick pre mix.
  • 3kg of red salt.
  • 2kg of dicalcium phosphate (DCP).

2. Kienyeji Growers mash

They should be provided with a protein content of between 16 and 18 percent. This is the formula used to make 1,000 kg of growers mash from scratch every week.

  • 3kg of red salt.

3.Kienyeji Layers Mash

This is the formula for layer mash for Kienyeji chickens of 1000 kg of layer mash for laying chickens.

  • 17kg of bone meal.
  • 3kg of red salt.
  • 2kg of Dicalcium Phosphate (DCP)

  • 1kg of toxin binder.
  • 0.5kg of methionine.

The price of kienyeji mash varies depending on its type and quality.

On average, the cost of a bag weighing 70 kg is Ksh. 2900.

Fugo Kienyeji Mash

Fugo Kienyeji Mash is a Kienyeji mash feed made for poultry. They are divided into three types, namely:

1. Fugo Kienyeji Chick Mash

It is a high-quality supplementary feed that promotes faster growth and strong bone. Fug kienyeji chick mash is available in 5kg, 10kg, 25kg, and 50kg bags.

2. Fugo Kienyeji Growers Mash

It is supplementary feeding that prevents coccidiosis and promotes faster growth and strong bones. The raw materials used ensure that chicks gain weight faster and the feed is digestible. The feed helps chickens achieve onset laying and an extended period of egg-laying. The feeds are available in 5kg, 10kg, 25kg, and 50kg bags.

3. Fugo Kienyeji Layer Mash

It is a supplementary feed recommended for laying chickens. Feed has nutrients that ensure a quality, strong egg shell with a yellow yolk. It also enhances the production of layers. It is recommended that during this period, each layer be given 120g to 140g per day. It is available in 5kg, 10kg, 25kg, and 50kg bags.

Bidco Kienyeji Mash

This is feed for Kienyeji poultry rearing, manufactured by Bidco. The feed is for egg and meat production. The feeds are available in 10kg, 20kg, and 70kg bags. It has different feed products for Kienyeji poultry, that is chick mash, growers mash, layer mash, ordinary broiler starters mash, ordinary broiler finisher mash, fast growing broiler starter mash, and fast grow finisher mash given at different stages of Kienyeji poultry development.
